Industrial Visit to Hydro Power Plant Ujjani, Indapur
An Industrial visit for SE ( A & B ) students of electrical department was arranged on 12th February 2018 at Hydro Power Plant, Ujjani, Indapur. During visit the students has learned about how power is generated in Hydropower plant. They have studied the working of Kaplan turbines, how the water is fed from reservoir to power station by penstock pipe etc. The Supervisory Engineer working over there has briefly explained about the actual working of Kaplan Turbines and PLC SCADA systems.
