This practical learning experience is necessary for students who have to date studied theory only and are unaware of a real production plant’s daily workings.

These educational tour help the students identify their learning towards a branch and decide their future work areas like marketing, finance, operations, IT, HR, etc.

Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park was developed in an attempt to initiate well-coordinated science communication and popularization activities in the region. The Centre has a built-up area of approximately 4000 sq. m., housing three permanent galleries, a temporary exhibition hall, an inflatable-dome planetarium, a science demonstration area, an activity corner, an auditorium, a 3D science show facility, a library cum conference hall, and a workshop for maintenance and development of exhibits.

During a visit student observed various application of science and engineering such as internal part of two wheeler & four wheeler, type of electrical circuit, development of automobile. Student also got knowledge about global warming and its side effect on animal life and environment through 3D animated show. Students are able to relate theoretical knowledge with real world engineering application in daily life.

Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre

The student of first year engineering visited the site and learnt about Various parts of drilling machine, types of drills, laser cutting machine.

Auto Cluster Pune is known for its unique model of technology infrastructure for innovations, technology up-gradation, new product development, prototyping, testing, etc. Auto Cluster is planning for supporting and developing key technologies such as e-mobility, searching new avenues of Design Validation platforms for future mobility under the expert’s guidance. Auto Cluster also acts as a catalyst for Industry-Academia by creating a network through the online social platforms and arranging expert guidance series for the betterment of future industry personnel/engineers.

Total 305 students were present for the visit as well 20 faculties. The visit is organized by Prof. A. G. Poshetti & Prof. Aparna Meshrm under the guidance of Head of Department Dr. Swati Godse At the end, Faculty members and students were done the big vote of thanks for science park manager for their valuable time.
