  1. On 27th March 2023, we,the Students of Mechanical engineering had the opportunity to visit Sai Service station and Automotive workshop for the subject Fluid power and control laboratory.

  2. Sai Service station and Automotive workshop which is located at Gat No.2406, off Pune Nagar road, Near Wagheshwar Temple, Wagholi 412207

  3. It was organized with the Prior permission of the Principal and H.O.D. and Mr. Chandrakant Halgi (Service Advisor) from Sai Service Station Automotive workshop.

  4. Training Officer of Sai Service station, Mr. Tushar has given the safety instructions and overall plan of the visit on gate itself.

  5. Prof. Sawle A. M., Prof.Talpe A.V. along with staff Mrs.Annapurna Koli. accompanied and guided the students during the visit.

  6. Students learn about how the hydraulic systems are used for lifting and positioning engines and vehicle frames. They have seenhow the hydraulic lifts are used to raise cars off the ground for repairs and maintenance work.

  7. Students learn about how Hydraulic systems are also used for brake systems, power steering, and suspension systems.

  8. Students were taken to the Air compressors unit, which is used to generate compressed air, which is used to operate power tools such as impact wrenches, grinders, and sanders.

  9. Students learnt about how the Pneumatic systems are also used in brake systems.

  10. The visit was very informative and students were well exposed to practical applications related to Fluid power and Control Subject.

  11. Students are benefited in terms of technical details provided by Engineers and staff of Sai Service and Automotive workshop.

  12. Transportation facility was made available by the college.

  13. Total 15 Students of TE were present for the Visit.
