International Women's Day (IWD) is a celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is also a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.
The Program was started with Saraswati poojan. Initially Prof. Amruta Kale delivered a welcome speech. Dr. Swati Godse delivered speech on importance of International Women’s day. After that As a part of the same First Year Engineering Dept. organized speech Competition for first year Engineering girl Students on 08/03/2022 at 03:00 p.m. The programme was graced by the presence of HOD of F.E Prof.Swati Godse as a chief guest, and all Staff members of FE.The competetion was conducted at Seminar Hall FE department and then final winners are decided by the judges.
The speech Competition was conducted on the topic “Achievements of Women’s in Modern Era”. There were 10 girl students participated in this competition . 1.Prerana Indore 2. PrajaktaBorhade 3. ShrutikaPatil 4.GayatriPhad 5. KhushiShekharWagh 6. SakshiWakade 7. PayalChavan 8.PranitaChavare 9. VaishnaviTilekar 10. MadhuraPeshave. First rank of this event is ShrutikaPatil from D division and second rank is given to Prerana Indore from D division.
This competition is judged by Senior faculty member Prof.M.G.Shrigan and HOD Dr.Swati Godse.The HOD congratulated and gave motivational speech to all winners and participants.
The programme ended with vote of thanks on behalf of the Institute by Prof.Vipul Bhosale. All students along with FE Staff members attended this programme. HOD of F.E. congratulated faculty members of FE department and appreciated the efforts put by the Staff members in organizing such a Nice Competition. All faculty from FE Department worked hard for the success of the program. The event coordinated by Prof.Amruta Kale and Prof. Vipul Bhosale.
